Experience one of Queensland’s most iconic coastal destinations aboard Sovereign Lady.

Known to the local Aboriginal people as Moorgumpin—“Place of the Sandhills”, Moreton Island is renowned for its spectacular beaches, crystal-clear waters and towering sand dunes.

Formed over four hundred thousand years ago, the island’s sand dunes rise to approximately 285 metres above sea level.

THE EXPERIENCE

The surrounding waters are home to incredible marine life, including dugongs, dolphins and six of the world’s seven species of marine turtles. Keep watch for pelicans, silver gulls, pied oystercatchers, white ibis and crested terns. Whales run from June – November.

Christmas Day & New Year’s Day:
$2,498 + GST per hour

All other Queensland public/statutory holidays:
20% surcharge — $1,498.80 + GST per hour

However, participation in water sports and other recreational activities involves inherent risks that may result in injury, illness, property damage or, in rare circumstances, death.By participating in any activities conducted during your charter, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks and agree, to the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, to release and hold harmless Sovereign Lady Charters, its vessel, owners and crew from liability for injury, loss or damage arising from your voluntary participation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.Guests are responsible for following all safety instructions provided by the crew. Any guest who chooses not to comply with crew directions may be excluded from participating in activities.
